The gains I have made over the last few months have been phenomenal. Everyday I take a step closer to my goal of walking across the stage of graduation in May. I’m able to walk in a walker without the help of anyone else, but I would love to walk without a walker. Today alone, I doubled my walking distance and squatted several CMs lower than ever before. I just need to stay persistent by working hard everyday. I will be moving to Michigan in January and staying until May to train at a world class rehab facility, Barwis Methods. This program will accelerate my recovery as graduation is quickly approaching.
I believe persistence is key to accomplish any goal in life. Many times we set goals for ourselves but the motivation and drive slowly fade over time. Stay persistent, work towards your goal everyday, and that goal may be reached!
Someone who is persistent and takes on each day with a positive attitude is my friend Abby Theisen. Please watch her inspirational story that was put together by my girlfriend, Emily Summers.
